What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Written to be read rather than to be impenetrable.

Ample Code is a Shopify conversion, UX and development practice operating from Pakistan and working with ecommerce brands internationally, including in the United Kingdom and European Union.
For the purposes of UK and EU data protection law, Ample Code is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at admin@amplecode.agency.
[Insert registered business name and address here once your entity is formed — until then, your trading name and contact email are what applies.]
When you submit the teardown request form or the contact form, we collect:
If you book a call through our scheduling provider, they collect your name, email, chosen time and any notes you add. That booking data sits with them as well as with us — see section 5.
Like most websites, ours records limited technical information when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page, and how you arrived. This is collected through analytics tools and only where you have accepted analytics cookies.
Under UK and EU law we need a lawful basis for using your personal data. Ours are:
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a mailing list because you filled in a contact form.
If you’d like your data removed sooner, ask — see section 7.
We use a small number of third-party services to run the website and the business. Each processes some data on our behalf:
We share data with these providers only so far as they need it to provide their service. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data to anyone.
We operate from Pakistan, and some of our providers are based in the United States. This means personal data you give us will be transferred outside the UK and European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses and equivalent transfer mechanisms. If you’d like detail on a specific provider, ask and we’ll tell you.
We use a small number of cookies. Essential ones make the site work and cannot be switched off. Analytics cookies only run if you accept them in the banner, and you can change your mind at any time.
Full detail is in our Cookie Policy.
If you’re in the UK or EU, you have the right to:
To exercise any of these, email admin@amplecode.agency. We’ll respond within 30 days, and there’s no charge.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to your local supervisory authority — in the UK that’s the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We’d rather you told us first so we can put it right.
The website runs over HTTPS, access to the systems holding enquiry data is restricted, and we keep software updated. No system is completely secure, and we won’t claim otherwise — but we don’t collect payment details or sensitive data, which meaningfully limits what’s at stake.
This website and our services are aimed at businesses. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, tell us and we’ll delete it.
If we change how we handle personal data, we’ll update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted clearly rather than quietly.
Email admin@amplecode.agency and a person will reply — usually the same day.
